TWA's New Service No one would confuse TWA with Cunard, but they share a commitment to their customers. Our transportation across the Atlantic to join the Vistafjord in Greece was TWA's brand new Trans World One premium class--front-cabin service at business-class prices. You get more seat room, a superior menu selection, and a list of other amenities. The seats are sleeper seats with up to a 62-inch pitch. That's football-field size compared with some of the flying cattle-cars I've been on. Not only that, they come with a fitted sheet, 100% wool blanket, and a large fluffy pillow--everything but a ted dy bear (well, to be honest, I didn't ask for one).
The menu has been upgraded and begins on the ground with a pre-flight buffet in the TWA Constellation Club at JFK Airport. And if you're not hungry when you're supposed to be, they'll serve you when you are.
This new service is available out of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. It includes all flights to London Gatwick, Paris, Athens, Rome, Frankfurt, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Madrid, and Barcelona. Ground amenities include expedited check-in , lounge facilities in selected airports, and expedited baggage delivery on arrival. Now, where did I put my teddy bear?
